Why do they get such a better deal in the States?

How come we get free ear buds worth "£169" in the UK with S25 pre orders - but they've been giving away the Pro version since last year - and they are currently selling them for $69 in the US?

I got mine for 336 with the ear buds I don't think that's bad at all with the trade in considering i got the s24 ultra for 630 and trade in is 660.

That's absolutely brilliant! I've never once said the deals are bad at all! Especially compared to other manufacturers trade ins etc.
Just that compared with other countries, we don't seem to get as good deals generally.

It just started as a conversation with my mate who works for BT/EE - they used to get one handset at 50% plus trade-in value etc. It's now 40% - but the conversation started about how he got the Galaxy watch as a free gift, and later in the year when I got mine, they were giving away the Ear Buds Pro 3 for dping a review, not the standard ones.

Maybe a poor example...

The Pros are more expensive, but on sale currently for £69.

I got a Chromebook when I got mine - my daughter loves it, and I thought it was a great deal - I got money off the Watch 7 too and however much for my S22 Ultra.

So I was happy - and I was happy with what I was offered this year, until I saw the amount people were paying in America etc and wondered why our deals are good, but as a general don't seem to be as good as other places.

I certainly wouldn't be complaining with the deal you got!

Maybe I could've worded the title better - there are a lot of posts on Reddit that are similar. I think you'd be amazed if you saw some of the trade-in deals.

Did you order through the app? You get another 10% with APPS25.

Mines still sitting in my basket - seems like too much of a good offer not to, but I only got the S24 Ultra in August/September - £900 I think I paid with my S22 Ultra traded in + a free Chromebook my daughter uses.

Seems like a mad deal to pass on really - but I've been using the One Ui 7 beta on this and I don't know if there's enough of an upgrade to warrant the £525 + I could spend it on a new monitor for my PC.

It's the fear of kicking myself once the pre-orders finished though and the deals no longer available!

No i did mine through the EPP store. Automatic 15% off. I mean it's not much of an upgrade over the s24 IMO but it's too good of a deal to miss up on
