Updates for Google Play Services

I am obsessed with updates, there, I said it!

I am always checking the Samsung and the Google stores to check what is available.

With regards to the Google Play Services, more often than not, when I check for updates, it tells me that I need to restart my phone, but does not tell me what update it is, nor its size, nor it changes the month of of the update.

Does this also happen to you?

That'll mean it installed the update automatically, it's just waiting for you to restart to apply it. It tells you the size and more info if you're the one to start the update, not if the update was already done by the phone.

 again in a 2nd consecutive day.... how many updates have you had this week for example?

I don't believe I've had any. Give it a few more days, you shouldn't get updates every day. It's usually once or twice a month
