The S25 battery drains when not in use.

Hello

I bought s25 ultra 5 days ago and since the first day I have a problem with the battery draining while sleeping and not using it.

Last night it was 70% charged, in the morning after 7 hours I noticed that it had dropped to 25%.

Internet, hotspot, GPS and all tools were off and I had already closed all the apps.

This is a disaster

Before I had s24 ultra it would only drain 3% from night to morning

Is my device broken?

Or is there a solution for it

First of all there is a high likelihood that an app compatability issue is causing something like this.

Make sure both Google play and samsung store apps are all updated.

If you have 'good guardians' installed then use the app optimisation utility to ensure that is all good.

If these do not help then a cache wipe will likely help. The steps below are typical for this action.

1) Turn off the device.
2) Connect the phone to a computer or another device, over a usb-c cable.
3) Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.
4) keep holding until the Android logo appears, release all keys.
5) a small menu appears. Use Volume Down button to highlight Wipe cache partition. Be careful here. Easy to do an action you really don't want to.
6) Press the Power button to select Wipe cache partition. • Use Volume Down to highlight Yes.
7) Press the Power button to confirm.

After a reboot, then check the battery over the next few days. Hopefully it has improved things for you.
