Samsungās offer and coupon system is unnecessarily complicated. I paid Ā£50 to reserve and receive Ā£150 worth of coupon codes. They sent the codes, but they ended up in my spam folder. I purchased my phone using a Blue Light Card offer and a discount code available in the Samsung Shop app. The initial promise was that I would be refunded my Ā£50 since I didnāt use the reserved coupon codes. However, Samsung later claimed that because I used a Ā£100 discount code, they considered it as having used the RAP code, even though the specific code they sent via email was never used. Iām certain I used a different code, not the one from the email. Essentially, I lost my Ā£50 reservation fee, and even if their claim is correct, their original offer was a Ā£150 discount, which I never fully received. In the end, they only offered me a Ā£30 Samsung Shop voucherāwhat a mess.
Another issue arose with a separate promotion. When I bought the Galaxy S25 Ultra (Titanium White Silver), there was an offer for free Galaxy Buds 3 with purchase (excluding the Jet Black model). The buds were supposed to be automatically added to my order, but they werenāt. After calling Samsung, they admitted there was a system issue with this specific model. They assured me I would receive the earbuds, but it took nearly three weeks of follow-ups before they finally added them to my orderāwith a delivery date of March 25, 2025.
To make matters worse, there was also a review-based promotion where customers were supposed to receive a starter pack after leaving a review. Despite the 14-day period passing, I received no emails. When I contacted Samsung, they provided a link, but there was no confirmation of my eligibility or details on the validation process. Now, Iām left wondering if theyāll deny the reward because I didnāt leave a five-star review, even though that wasnāt stated as a requirement.
Overall, Samsungās promotions are overly complex, making it unnecessarily difficult for customers to claim their offers and vouchers. They would be better off providing straightforward discounts instead of putting customers through this frustrating process.

⢠Samsung's complicated promotional system caused multiple issues.
⢠You lost a £50 reservation fee despite using a different discount code than the one provided, receiving only a £30 voucher in compensation.
⢠Free earbuds promised with a phone purchase arrived extremely late after numerous calls, and a promised review reward remains unfulfilled, leaving the author uncertain of its eligibility criteria.
⢠The author concludes Samsung's promotions are overly complex and frustrating.

Not sorted yet; still arguing and chasing up with Samsung.
