Today at the Galaxy Unpacked 2025
We got the chance to see and handle the new devices.
Had only a few minutes so just a quick look.
But as I have the S24 Ultra, I decided to focus on the S25 Ultra and compare the devices.
See the main differences.
Firstly the S25 Ultra is a great looking phone. Even though I do prefer the S24 Ultra look with the square corners.
There’s no denying how amazing the new phone looks and feels.
Firstly the S Pens are very similar, but the new phone has a more flustered fitting S Pen functionality. I do prefer this as I felt the S24 Ultra Pen protrudes out too far for my liking.
So this for me I prefer.
Although the old S Pen fits in the new phone, and visa versa. The old S Pen won’t click down on the new phone.
Just know someone will ask.
Cameras wise. The new phones cameras modules are larger in diameter than the older phone.
But the style layout is the same.
I’m happy about this as I think personally it suits the phone.
The camera surrounds are not flush to the back of the phone but have a slight gap under them. Gives it a floating look.
A lot has been mentione about the rounded corners. But i was pleasant surprised that they don’t affect the size of the phone.
In fact the frame itself is not as squared off going around the screen and back of the phone.
But largely the whole layou is the same
The screen couldwell have been slightly smaller due to rounded corners on the frame. But the bezel edges have been made smaller to actually slightly increase the size.
Overall I really liked the new S25 Ultra. Lovely phone and I put my pre order in.
Really looking forward to getting my hands on it and getting to use it.
