Side button activates Google assistant instead of Gemini

As above, long pressing the side button has switched from activating Gemini to Google assistant. In settings, it is just set to Google, there's no optionsl differentiating between assistant and Gemini. Gemini still works if started from the app. 

Anyone else got this?

Reboot your phone, might have to do it a couple of times though

It switched back again. So annoying 😑

This exact issue is happening to me, Gemini has been swapped to Google Assistant despite Gemini being my selected option
