Hi,
Having just picked up my S25, I decided I would use Onedrive to sync my Photos (Gallery app).
Phone was setup
Purchased extra storage plan on Onedrive
Tried to connect to Onedrive in Gallery app
It links to Microsoft
I signed in
It then gave the screen to link the accounts
.....at which point it bounced straight back to the 1st screen in Gallery and displayed
"Server error, please try again later"
Needless to say, I tried everything I saw on the web to fix this
Clearing cache
Removing samsung account
Logging out and back in
Boot in recovery and wipe cache portion
Even factory reset
Nothing worked.
I rang samsung for tech support - REALLY good, BTW. Baffled them too as I had done everything they could think of.
So how did I fix it?
I created a brand new samsung account AND a brand new OneDrive account.
I tried 1 last time and it went through seamlessly - exactly as it should.
Both my samsung account and my onedrive account were already registered from years ago.
I think that the "handshake" permissions needed are "new" and only set properly when you create an account today.
I tried a combination of new samsung/old onedrive (since I'd just bought the storage) but only New/New works (at least for me)
Thankfully, when I created the new onedrive and connected'it gave me 6mths free 100gb plan so not the biggest loss with the old accou t.
Try it' even if it's to prove that it's problems at the account level.

🔥 Massive thanks for sharing this — this is gold. That error has been haunting Galaxy S24/S25 users since launch, and your workaround is probably the clearest root-cause isolation I’ve seen yet.
