I responded to a post and thought it would be good to share here, too.
Im sure most of you know about these settings, but for those who dont know what Samsung features are there to protect you;
If you go to Lost phone protection in settings, you'll find plenty of options to encrypt your data.
Secure Folder: Maintain your privacy. Keep sensitive data and content in a separate, protected area on your phone. Enhance your productivity. Add second instances of your apps so you can use them in different contexts.
Enhanced data protection: Protect your cloud data with end-to-end encryption. This ensures that no one can access your data but you, even if there is a data breach.
Block USB connections while locked To protect your data, prevent USB devices from connecting when your phone has been locked for more than an hour.
In addition to this, under Security and privacy, go to Lost device protection, theft protection, and then turn on:
Identity check: Require biometrics and a security delay when changing sensitive settings on your phone.
Screen locking: Theft detection lock—Lock the screen if it's detected that someone took your phone and ran away.
Offline device lock: Lock the screen if your phone loses its network connection. Remote lock: If your phone is lost or stolen, you can lock the screen by entering your phone number at android.com/lock.
@GusB for the additional info:
Lock network and security Prevent Wi-Fi and mobile data from being turned off when your phone is locked. Find My Mobile uses these connections to locate and control your phone when it's lost.
