Samsung wallet is pointless for barlcays bank customers

Absolute waste of time and effort. It won't work with my bank but does with the US braches of barclays. Funny that.

Worst part is the Google wallet does work with barclays but I can't bind the Google wallet to my new ultra watch lower button! It's absolutely ridiculous. They want us to use their shoddy software but refuse to actually make it work!

I would happily use Samsung wallet but it's not recognised by most shops and banks so no point until they solve this issue, I am using Google wallet all the way and I never had an issue anywhere, not even outside EU area. I don't own a watch, I only use the phone to make payments.

Samsung wallet is a bit limited in terms of banks. So yeah barclays doesn't work with it.

Barclays does with with google wallet, I have my Barclays card linked to google wallet and it works just fine.

Just tried setting google wallet on my watch ultra, you're right it can't be set to the lower button. Use the send feedback button in the support section of this app and let samsung know of the issue

unfortunately only certain Banks support Samsung pay in the Uk.  However there is a wprkaround with Samsung Pay Plus via a Digital card powered by curve. https://www.samsung.com/uk/samsung-pay-plus/

I use barcleys- i connected card to CURVE- and then that to samsung pay. Absolutely easy to do, and works flawlessly

Surely if it isn't supported by the banks they have a reason no? Circumventing the reason might not be the best thing. I just wish it would work. I swear it used to?

It's strange because its not a new thing. Would be better if Samsung was proactive for once

They won't. They only do what they think the corporate suits think people want. Hence why the colours for the phones went away from these vibrant colours to at one point black, grey, grey 2 and white. Got a few more choices but nothing like the s10 plus.. its a shame they are blind and deaf to feedback
