I was going to buy S 25 ultra until I read that Samsung removed the Bluetooth S-pen feature, so I choose an S 24 instead. Someone at Samsung decided that only .5 percent of owners use thr feature. It's easy to imagine that a Samsung employee that doesn't use the Bluetooth S-pen, asked 10 random Samsung employees if they use the S-pen, and only 1 person used it so that became .5 percent. I know of no one who used the Gestures option, as it seems better suited for children.

They got the data from phone analytics. Depending on your device settings, your phone tells samsung bits of what you do. This is so they can see how popular certain features are for their customers. Most people didn't use the Bluetooth pen features.

They didn't survey people or assume things, they tracked what users did

Hello 👋 @JackkHacket

The removal of the sPen soon became common knowledge ,and discussed on the forum and other places.

It's always best to perform due diligence before a purchase.

I have had the s²⁴ Ultra since it's launch date and never used the Bluetooth option,  however I appreciate for some it's a deal breaker.

I know i can use the voice controls to take a photo remotely if I need to.

Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Absolutely disagree with saying it was just some guy asking his colleagues… no business decisions are going to be made without a detailed analysis of the numbers. Remember, business is profit-based—and there are two major flaws in your argument: 1, they won't make a decision without reason, and 2, they keep what their customers want...need use, I wouldn't give a kid an S25U… how quickly the spen would be lost or broken.

Hi @JackkHacket Welcome to the Samsung Community 😀.
it is your choice but the evidence clearly shows that S Pen Bluetooth functionality is not the biggest priority for customers, others factors largely determine if they will upgrade . I realise it will be frustrating for some but the decision only taken after extensive analysis.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

I don't miss it, bluetooth functionality. Used it maybe half dozen times, if that
