I use Gboard. Whenever I copy anything now, I get the message above telling me that Samsung keyboard has pasted from my clipboard. Is there a way to disable this? Not the warning message but the action.

If I delete everything on the Gboard clipboard and swap keyboards it's all still there in the Samsung clipboard which is not ideal.

I have only noticed this recently and I don't get the same message on my Tab S9.

Under settings / security and privacy /control and alerts/

Disable clipboard notification

Yeah, I don't want to disable the alerts. I'm more concerned that Samsung keyboard is sending that message or accessing the clipboard when I am not even using it as the default keyboard.

I see this as a major problem and security concern. No way to auto delete clipboard, and no way to stop Samsung keyboard from automatically pasting everything you copy (even with another keyboard open) to its own Samsung keyboard clipboard.

Samsung needs to give a setting to disable this.

This is dodgy, I DO NOT want to give my data to Samsung. However it's not giving freedom to its users, it is intercepting clipboard and not allowing users to use payment shortcut for Google Wallet.

Next time, I'm getting a Pixel or pure Android device.

Samsung, we DO NOT, want Samsung keyboard, Samsung store, or Samsung browser. Remove it from the devices.

Worst suggestion. Even if you fully trust Samsung, you'll not know if other apps is pasting. Sometimes password managers would fail to detect the password field and many people would go copy the password from the password manager, if you know any app you don't trust (in terms of managing your data well, if you don't trust an app, you shouldn't install it at all), at least you can reset your password. I wonder how much Samsung would like to pay for a class action, when some users are fully aware of this, but have no choice and their bank passwords ended up in the dark web.

Your suggestions for this is to disable the security functionality specifically meant to catch spyware and similar unwanted behavior?

Sure sounds like a potential issue.
