Health Connect is an Android service to facilitate sharing of health-related data between apps, similar to Apple Health on iOS. Actually, it has been part of Android since version 14, so if your Samsung device runs One UI 6 or newer there is no need to install the Health Connect app from Google Play, see also https://support.google.com/android/answer/14119325?hl=en. You can access it directly from your phone settings:
Settings -> Security and privacy -> More privacy settings ->Health Connect.
For easier access I created a shortcut on my home screen (can be enabled with Registar from Good Lock).
Anyway, that's great that Dexcom supports Health Connect. The Freestyle Libre app unfortunately does not, at least when I tried it out a few months ago.
