I just received my samsung galaxy s twenty five ultra phone a few days ago and I noticed that the back of the phone gets extremely hot. I am worried that the phone is going to catch alight . Is anyone else having the same problem? What can be done to correct this issue?

Hi! Welcome to Samsung Members!

With the warmer weather, this may be happening more. But, the big thing is: are you getting any warming messages? Samsung devices have temperature detection and will warn if they are too hot.

First thing is it won't catch alight.
The S25 Ultra has a large vapour chamber inside, so may well feel like it's getting warmer than older phones with heavy tasks like gaming.
But do look in battery settings to see if anything is using more battery than normal. Like an app or theme.

Be worth also Wiping the Partition Cashe on the phone as well
The phone has internal temperature monitoring. So will slow processing down until cooler or in extreme situations. Shut the phone off

Most often, it's an application or applications you've installed. Also, check your background sync, as that can contribute to the phone overheating. Contrary to what others have mentioned here, it doesn't overheat. It actually does overheat, and I have experienced it. But as I pointed out, this is due to the kind of application(s) you downloaded and ran on your phone. I was lucky enough to locate and delete the application, causing my phone to overheat, and I also turned the sync off. I would advise checking the Google Photos app, as this can be a major culprit, next the Gmail application, as this syncs in the background and can be a real battery drainer.
