Samsung find app

Hi all.

I have never seen on my samsung find app before with previous buds.

I have just got the bubs pro 3 and below it's saying spotted by nearby device?

That means it was found with offline finding. So it wasn't paired to your phone at the time, it sent out a signal saying "hey, I'm galaxy buds" a samsung device near it received the signal and told samsung where it received the signal

Oh.not sure i like the fact that someone else has found them.
Does that mean they can see my address?
Sorry if I'm begin bit dumb.
Just never seen it before and always had samsung phones/buds

No not at all. When another device finds your device, the owner has no idea, no way to tell what the device is or who owns it.

Their device just sees that a samsung device is near and tells samsung what it saw and where they were at the time

Ah right I see. Was bit concerned for a bit. Still odd i have checked the setting and offline finding it off?

Yes, either your devices or possible other Samsung as part of the wider network.

You didn't by any chance turn it off on just your phone? There's a setting per device. I'd also recommend leaving it on, means you can find your devices if they ever get lost and a random samsung user walks past them
