This issue is driving me nuts and has caused me to miss appointments, I've now had to stop using the Samsung calendar despite having no issues with it for years prior to now.

I upgraded my phone to the S25 recently and continued to use the Samsung calendar as normal.

Since changing my phone I get no alerts from the calendar. I've tried everything I can to sort it, I've set the battery for the app to unrestricted, tried all advice I've read online but nothing works. I still get NO alerts from the calendar. Does anyone have any advice? Im really regretting this upgrade.

It seems from reading online that this issue is happening with S25 devices and nobody from Samsung is picking up on it.

Quick question, does your S25 have Google calendar installed on your phone too? It might be a matter of setting the Samsung calendar as the default calendar.

No i don't. Trust me I have tried everything.

This is clearly a bigger issue and not a user issue.

The reason I'm asking is because I have the S25 Ultra and i get my notifications without any problems. Have you tried clearing the cache on your calendar app? Uninstalling and reinstalling?

Also did you install Samsung calendar from Google playstore or the Galaxy store?

Hello 👋 @NXY

I see some of the owners in the thread you've attached used Samsung Smartswitch to move their information across , which we know some people then have encountered issues after using Smartswitch.

Personally I use Samsung Cloud.

As you've checked the permissions etc I'd suggest to uninstall the app from your phone and reinstall it to see if that helps.

It that fails try >

  • Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section  > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }

If all else fails send feedback via your Samsung Members App ,and in the interim use an alternative calendar so you don't continue to be adversely affected by this.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
