Hi everyone does anyone know why my phone camera doesn't like clouds. If I'm taking a pic and it's got clouds in the clouds are super white and over exposed it's wrecking my pics x.
Thanks in advance x

If you expect dynamic range, you should enable it. I'd recommend keeping scene optimisation on and increasing it to maximum. These settings are far better with the S25 Ultra, and you definitely keep Auto HDR on if you expect balanced bright outdoor photos. Not a fan of the softening, but it's entirely up to you whether to keep this on.

HDR would have helped you expose for the lights and darks here unless you are going to manually drop the exposure in scenes like that.

I'd counter the scene optimiser statement for my S24U but it's down to personal preference. Take a few test shots with various settings to see what you like. I prefer my saturation closer to reality so I have it off as my style is more muted. Both options are right, you just need to pick what's best to your eyes. Hope this helps.

Anywhere there is a strong contrast of light skys or dark shadows. If you don't stylise your shots for contrast like silhouettes ect much. It's best to just leave HDR on for a flatter image profile.
