S25 Ultra Sound cracking

Cracking sound.

This is going to sound nuts.. but when I speak slightly louder on message or whatsapp and say words like why or try with a pause in between. I hear a static sound on playback. If I record with voice recorder or video record it comes out beautifully. Also I learned of if when voice recording on text message and while I'm recording I turn off noise cancelation it doesn't happen either. So I'm really confused by this. I haven't tried Bluetooth headphones yet. Just wish I could turn off noise cancelation or maybe even turn down the mic.

I scoured the internet and saw nothing about this. I'm going to go to Verizon tomorrow and try one of their phones to see. I really don't want to send this back over this. But I so a lot of voice recordings and it doesn't make sense. Just certain words makes it happen. Must be the tone of that word. I'm lost. I did a restart in case anyone asks.

Any help would be appreciated. .maybe other people are having the same issue and noone noticed?

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum section for UK and Ireland users. 

There is a diagnostic test tool found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything. 

However you shouldn't have to be troubleshooting if your still in your cooling off period. 

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within.

• I just got the Samsung S25 Ultra 512 GB and I use voice clips and voice texting a lot, and I mean, A LOT (My poor friends lol)
• and the crackling sound is happening whenever I raise my voice even a little bit.......like the 5 minute audio clip I left my friend, it probably crackled like a 100 times which was incredibly irritating (for both of us) and I know my friends are going to consistently hate this happening. 😑

• Idon't know what to do about it, but I absolutely hate it. And will be complaining FOR SURE, and will be going into the store to see if they can help me.

I also felt inspired enough to leave another one, saying that for the fourteen hundred dollars, I paid for this frickin' phone you would think it would not have a super low end glitch like that 

give me a frickin' break!!!!!! 😬🙄🤷‍♀️😡🤦‍♀️😵😵‍💫☹️

I have this issue as well... cracks/pops during voice messages recordings in Whatsapp. I think that when I use Telegram or Signal everything is fine.

I have similar issue since I got my S25+ Whenever I watch youtube videos I always get cracking/popping noise and sound lagging. I took my phone back to Samsung store and they keep telling me there's nothing wrong with the phone. They said it might be 3rd party app issue. The issue remains till now. I've traded in my old S21 Ultra that work just fine to get this S25+ believing it's an upgrade; turn out it's an unfinish product full of defects. I've been a Samsung customer since Galaxy S4 and now I've decided to never buy a Samsung product ever again.
