I had an S23U earlier. Used to connect to 5G no problem. After I changed to the S25U, it's majorly connecting to 4G, and 5G very few no. of times. Even at places where I used to get 5G at good speeds, the S25U is struggling with 4G low speeds. I just switched the physical sim between these phones, but still facing this issue. It's frustrating to use a new device but with low internet speeds. What can be done?

Hello 👋 @suhasgummadi
I appreciate you would like to see the ⁵g icon in your status bar , however ⁴g or ⁴g+ is still not a slow performance connection.
I see your still getting ⁵g at times.
Do you still have your Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra to try the sim again. 🤔
Or test the sim in another phone that has ⁵g frequencies.
Look at any available Network Checker to see if your Network is experiencing any issues.
Mast congestion however wouldn't typically show on these mast checkers.
Your Network Customer Services can check your account to rule out any issues there.
In Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Mobile Networks > See if that helps.
There is a diagnostic tool found in the Samsung Members App to see if that highlights anything.
Ultimately if your within any relevant cooling off period you could ask for a swap of the phone.
Turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.
If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask 😎
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "
