I am crossing my fingers that it is just a rumour. Looking to upgrade from my Note 20 Ultra. If the rumours are true, looks like the S24 Ultra is where I will be landing

I too would be disappointed if the S-Pen would have no Bluetooth (air gestures, remote). We are too near the Unpacked event that rumors are getting more traction... and some are actually leaks not just some baseless rumors. I would want the best for the money, even the 16GB RAM which is supposedly not gonna be offered everywhere. If this is how it's gonna be, then I guess I'd stay with my S23U for another year. Almost 2.5 hours from the event at this time of writing... fingers crossed and trying to tame my excitement.

Without Bluetooth, it's just a dead stylus; poking stick. With Bluetooth, it raises the bar of an ordinary stylus. If what has been rumoured came from Samsung, then why would they shoot themselves in their own foot in revealing everything? If I'm them, just reveal some features and keep the rest hidden, a secret then there will be surprises and people talk about it. It's creating a hype or putting people in suspense.
Well, it's only a few hours from knowing the truth. Let's hope there's Bluetooth on S25 Ultra S Pen! I'm a S22 Ultra user and I liked my S Pen; so unique and exclusive to Ultra models that has a slot in the phone.

Well, the Unpacked event is done, and unfortunately, Samsung did drop Bluetooth support from the S Pen, which means there won't be any Air Gestures on the S25 (and possibly future Ultras too?). I use my S Pen to click group pictures (and people are really impressed with the S Pen clicking the pics), and it’s very convenient. The other gestures were cool too. If Samsung keeps going down this path of cutting useful features to save a few bucks, I’ll eventually have to find a better Android phone. This is a very bad decision by Samsung and makes the S Pen a dumb stylus.

They just confirmed it. Those cheap pieces of ***** got rid of the bluetooth functionality for the s25 ultra.

They confirmed they got rid of bluetooth functionality. The rumors were right after all.

Too much AI—when I only want the best cameras on a phone and a remote to come with it—to take photos of me and my friends/family. Samsung doesn't get it. Arguably, those using the S-Pen for this may be in the minority but we also pay the same big effin' amount of money and have been supporting the brand/model for years. What a BIG disappointment. S25U is now just another brick with a dumb stylus. I'm now more excited about IP17 Pro Max—at least it has LiDAR to set it apart from the rest—it would be my pocketable SLS camera XD
*Sigh*...so much for the Registration+ voucher 😕

yep, totally agree. I want the best cameras on the market, 10X OPTICAL zoom (not 5x optical and after that digital zoom with 'AI' ) because is very useful in nature and museums, nice screen, 65W charging and a quick processor (Exynos not included) I DON'T CARE ABOUT AI, I DON'T USE IT, IS JUST A NICE TO HAVE. Bluetooth stylus was not a nice to have ! was very useful

Samsung got it backwards—AI is a must and Bluetooth S-Pen is a nice-to-have... or actually disposable. And yep, no 16GB RAM for me either. So infuriating.

Looks like the S24 Ultra it is 😔 Not willing to sacrifice the Bluetooth connectivity in the stylus when I use it so much. I may be in the minority but it is a definite deal breaker.
