Just checking my camera version number following this morning's February security patch update on my S25 Ultra, and there is a new camera version with this update. Pre-update my camera was on version 15.0.01.69, and now the new version is 15.0.01.71. Does anyone out there know what this camera upgrade entails?. I have heard whispers that it contains night mode improvements, but I can't find anything set in stone?. Thanks in advance.

There have been reports of issues with night mode, particularly with blurring. Samsung has acknowledged these issues and has stated that they are rolling out software fixes. Therefore, it's highly probable that your camera update includes improvements to night mode performance.

Specifically, there has been talk of fixes to night mode blurring, and astrophotography blurring.

Camera updates often include general optimizations for image processing, stability, and performance. This can lead to improvements in various aspects of the camera's functionality, even if they aren't explicitly mentioned in release notes.

"We are aware of a limited number of cases where images appear blurred when taking photos in Night Mode on Galaxy S25 Ultra and have issued a fix to resolve in the next software update rolling out starting this week," said the Samsung spokesperson

I've had software update but camera is still very poor. Blury and pixelated photos and 12m is now worse than the 50!

This is terrible 😞

I'm having issues with taking indoor photos in night mode.  Last week purchased samsung s25 ultra.  I see this blue stripes all over the photos. Is this also a software glitch or a hardware issue?

That does not look normal @Members_gJe. I can only recommend clearing your cache partition and camera app cache, as well as putting your device in to safe mode and seeing if a rogue app is causing this issue. Is this problem occurring when using the main camera app or when running it through a social media app?. A factory reset should be your last resort if you can't get any joy from my advice. I can't help feeling that you may well have to take this device back to where it was bought for a repair or replacement. Have you had the first big software update on this device?.

Hi, thanks for your response. This happens in the  default samsung camera app.  Also only  in default  normal 1x mode. On other modes like ultra wide, zoom i dont notice it.  The video also has the same issue in 1x mode. However In the pro mode both photo video seems clear.  The raw mode also works fine. I reached out to Sam's support they sugges I turned off night mode, lower the optimizations to minimum. Howevere Still I see these lines. I see the last system update  on the phone was done on 28 feburary 2025

This sounds problematic to me. I would definitely try and clear the camera app cache on your device. Long hold the camera app tile on your home screen until the grey option rectangle pops up. Now hit the little circled i symbol to take you into App Info page and then scroll down to storage. Hit this to take you to your storage info, and then hit clear cache at the bottom right. This may take a few seconds to clear.
Should this not work for you then I would consider taking your device back to where you bought it for advice/repair or replacement, as something tells me that this issue may be tough to resolve without professional advice.
