S25 Ultra - High CPU Usage - Input Lag

I'm experiencing intermittent input lag so short presses are sometimes registered as long presses (super annoying when typing). It also means there's a tiny delay when opening or closing apps. Restarting the phone fixes this for but then the issue returns. Have tried turning all Good Lock modules off but it makes no difference. Other than this the phone is perfect. 

Is anyone else having this issue? I'm nervous it might be a hardware issue.

Update: 72 hours after doing a factory reset, the issue has returned. Really disappointed. Can't see anything unusual in battery, app usage, diagnostics etc. Guess next step is to contact Samsung support...

I'm so glad I wasn't the only one having the issue here. Multiple times of restarting and clearing cache partition but the problem just won't go. Can't blame the phone for overheat or overprocessing. It was clearly a software issue where iPhone can do it so much snappier. A little disappoint here expecting a huge impact on the user experience after the remake of ONE UI 7.

I have still not done the factory reset. I haven't managed to find the time. I am still suffering with the issue and am very disappointed to hear that it didn't work for you. Not really sure what to do as the lag is extremely annoying and the effect on battery life is quite dramatic.

Yes I raised a ticket with error logs and a video of the behaviour on 3rd March, but not had a response. Have tried toggling so many settings since but none have helped. The last one I changed was to turn off "adaptive battery optimisation", don't know if it's worked yet but so far the issue hasn't returned.

Issue returned, although it took nearly a week. Now it's happening daily again. I'm sure there's a service causing it but I don't know how to identify it. This screenshot shows the effect on battery, but it's not related to an app. Wondering now if it's something to do with Google Play Services in the background or something. Super annoying, and still no response from support. 1742674050510.jpg

I've made some progress, but issue isn't resolved. I downloaded the Samsung Thermal Guardian app and it clearly identified the culprit during a period when I was experiencing the issue - a process called "system server" which is also related to Google Play Services which was causing high CPU usage. I checked my Google account sync settings but nothing unusual. Might try another factory reset. 1742772305344.jpg

Very interesting. I am experiencing the issue almost daily and my only option is to restart my phone when I notice it happening. Where did you find the Thermal Guardian app? I did a search in the play store but couldn't find it.....
