S25 Ultra - High CPU Usage - Input Lag

I'm experiencing intermittent input lag so short presses are sometimes registered as long presses (super annoying when typing). It also means there's a tiny delay when opening or closing apps. Restarting the phone fixes this for but then the issue returns. Have tried turning all Good Lock modules off but it makes no difference. Other than this the phone is perfect.

Is anyone else having this issue? I'm nervous it might be a hardware issue.

I would clear the phone's cache partition.

This may sound obvious, but make sure low power mode/battery saver is off.

Plug into PC.
1. Turn off the phone. 2. Press and hold the required buttons to open the recovery menu. 3. Release the buttons when the phone vibrates and the Samsung logo appears. 4. Use the volume buttons to navigate to Wipe cache partition. 5. Press the power button to select Wipe cache partition. 6. Press the volume buttons to navigate to Yes. 7. Press the power button to confirm Yes. 8. The phone will automatically reboot.

Hello 👋 @RekkitRalph

As a process of elimination can you try Safe Mode.

Just to clarify  that  you can also connect to Tv USB or other  Mobile, if PC is not concenient.    step 2 is to Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Did this yesterday and - fingers crossed - the issue hasn't come back in 24 hours, thank you! If it does return I'll update here.

Unfortunately this issue has come back on my phone. It's also resulting in battery drain.

A restart fixes it for a few hours. Interestingly plugging it into the car for Android Auto also fixed it temporarily. Pretty gutted to be honest - guess I'll have to try a factory reset next.

Hi, I think I'm experiencing the exact same issue. I'm using Gboard as my keyboard and when the issue occurs I seem to experience significant battery drain. Have you found a resolution?

Yeah sounds like my issue. I did a factory reset two nights ago which was annoying and took ages to setup again, but touch wood the issue hasn't returned since. Did you use Smart Switch when you set your phone up? I did and copied all my apps across too, and I think it copied a corrupted version of an app, so when I setup my phone after the factory reset I only restored settings and downloaded all my apps again fresh from the store.

I was afraid you'd say that! I did indeed use smartswitch to copy everything from my S24 Ultra. I was really hoping to avoid doing a factory reset! Guess I have no choice. Thanks for getting back to me......

For anyone else having this issue, 48 hours after I did a factory reset and the issue has not returned. When I setup my phone again I installed all apps fresh from the Play Store and only used Smart Switch to restore settings/call logs etc. Was a hassle but seems to have worked.
