S25 Plus overheats while using Google Services

Since the past week, my S25 plus overheats everytime I try and use Google Services like adding a payment card to wallet, adding passwords/passkeys to manager or even just sign up to manage my Google account. This has never happened before in the almost 5 months I've been using the phone. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be and what I can do about it ?

Ps: Not sure if this is related but I opened Google Wallet a few days ago and the saved card had vanished. I had to add it again but the problem seemed to start from then.

Have you tried clearing your cache partition?

Get to recovery menu, wipe cache partition. Might help.

While the chip in the s25 series is known to get hot when it's maxed out, it shouldn't be hot most of the time. Good guardians, thermal guardian might also be able to spot why

Thanks a lot for the tip ! I installed Good Guardian to check and as suspected, it shows Google Services Framework is causing this. Not sure what the underlying issue is though and what's suddenly causing Google Services to heat up the phone so much
