Okay, so I'm conflicted on what I should get. Earlier I was planning on getting a s24 plus but didn't because of exynos and I didn't wanna get the ultra because It's rather large and bulky, along with the sharp corners. So I waited for the s25 series and well the s25 ultra is a bit too expensive for me, and with the s24 plus being my previous option, I'm not conflicted on whether I should go for the s25 plus or the s24 ultra because It would be more value for money, cause it's an ultra for almost the same price.

If the Ultra is too big size, then I would recommend the S25 Plus

Hello 👋 @Ace06 and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

One should take their time and do due diligence before purchasing.

I like the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra because of it's aesthetic look , the 7 years it comes with in regards to software and security patches, and the sPen not to mention it's build quality, and the functions and features it has.

When a case is on these phone's the corners become a non starter issue 😉

And it'll have the Samsung One Ui⁷ soon.

To be honest I haven't experienced any negative usage experience with Exynos however I appreciate some will want the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC-Version.

My personal opinion is the Ultra but that's because I do use the sPen.

Your wants and needs will be different to mine obviously, and Yes disposable income can play a part ,even with any Trade-in options etc.

Take your time and have hands on with both at a Samsung Experience Store, or Highstreet Network Store.

YouTube is a good source too.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

Tbh phones are similar, the S25 plus has some new tech from this year obviously, the S24U is a ultra and has some extra specs because it's an Ultra. Monewise, you said you can afford both. If size is a deal breaker for you, than the S25 plus is for you, if specs are a deal breaker, the S24U is for you. Reading reviews and watching YouTube videos can help you get informed about the choice you make. Both phones get 7, respectively 6 years updates so you will not run short on software updates, also go in the store and play with them and compare them to prevent disappointment in the following months. I use S24U because I am after specs and size is not a problem for me, I like big phones, also I am looking for powerful camera and Office integration, plus I Love the SPen. I have had it for a year and love it, it's fast and sturdy and it's like a pocket computer for me.

The phones are quite similar. At the time when the S23 Series came out, I was contemplating the S23 Ultra but opted for S23 plus as both phones performed the same, and I did like the rounded edges of the S23 plus. If you are looking at cost and budget, I would go for the S25 plus because with the amount of money off deals, discounts and trade-in value, you could be paying an affordable amount. But as Star_girl mentioned if you can afford the S24 Ultra, go for it. But I do like how the plus models fit nicely in your hand and not overly big to handle.

Correct, I have kind of downsized from the S24 Ultra to the S25 Plus.

It is slightly smaller than the S24U, but I like that smallness as it's easier to handle.

Also love the rounded corners.

My opinion is that the Plus series is a very clever choice for someone who wants more than the basic model but maybe doesn't need or too big size the Ultra.

I'm considering doing the same, the ultra is just too big. Do you notice the camera differences? I'm worried about the camera on the s25 plus being noticeably worse. I don't use the 200mp but sometimes use the wide. Also do you find it more comfortable?

The camera @ 50m is absolutely fine. It does have a wide angle on it and the pictures are superb. Also noticed the sound through the Bud3Pro is much better than the S24U. So all in all, I was a bit unsure as I ordered mine in a hurry, but I think I've definitely made the right decision. Handling wise the S24U was too big, and I never really used the S-Pen. It was a novelty to take pics with remotely or scribble stuff me notes.
