Needs a hands on, not one for reviewers thoughts, but feedback from SMS in Korea is they maybe jumped the S25 Ultra ship or most likely keeping both, notable a few were as you say, meh whats the fuss.

I think it would be interesting to  have a hands  on/ test the Edge but not sold on it thus far. (unable to make the KX event next week though).

My impression is that this Device will be more of an attraction for those with the plus (whether S25 one or previous version), there are some compromises and whilst Battery size not everything doubt it will be efficient enough.  However some will be sold on style/form factor.

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

The weight and how thin it is is awesome. Saying that, it's not a great deal thinner than the plus. For me, the cameras look ugly like the iPhone 16. What are they smoking by only putting in a 3900mah battery when silicone is available. With a 6.7 quad hd screen, I can't see any amount of sorcery giving decent battery time. It also has one less core in the 8elite chipset (not being pointed out by anyone, and not many are aware of this) than the other S25 models, which really won't help with the battery. You can buy the ultra for the same price or even the plus for less. I think it's overpriced and would easily take the plus over it.

@faculty Where are you seeing this information on the cores? Both the s25e and s25U both have 8 cores? (6+2).

Im very interested in the battery situation. Curious how long itll last1747307998135.jpg

Google it, mate. It's everywhere. Considering its size and weight, it's saying it makes sense for Samsung to go with something less powerful. Only 7 cores because of thermal throttling and heat management. Here's a picture from gsm. 1747308234947.jpg

"While it was expected to use Qualcomm's trimmed-down 7-core CPU version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, that doesn't appear to be the case"

https://www.sammobile.com/news/galaxy-s25-edge-8-core-snapdragon-8-elite-for-galaxy-processor/

Looking online now- and seems to be the normal 8 core- 7 core being speculation, since been disproven

*So, this is the same Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy chip used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra

I've read in more than one place it has one core less. If you think about it, it does make sense considering how thin it is. Try to Google more up to date information, maybe mate.
