I received my new S25 and I am pretty happy with the camera (coming from an s21 Ultra). But something is terrible off with the ultrawide: The camera is not able to focus on closer subjects and all the pictures I am taking with the ultrawide seems to be super blurry. When I switch back to 1x everything gets back in focus.

I also noticed that in pro mode (video and photo) there is no option for the focus modes in ultrawide.

So when I had my s21 Ultra I could take ultrawide pictures and switch the focus with a fingertip between closer subjects and things further away. With the S25 now eveything seems to be out of focus.

Facing same issues. It's possibly because the ultrawide camera on the S25 doesn't have any autofocus, and can hardly focus on closer up subjects. A recent software update has managed to improve the focus ever so slightly, but still miles away from a proper autofocus

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra when it was launched and recently I faced the same issue: the ultrawide lens (that is 0.6x) is not able to focus properly.
I tried this lens in every possible way. In the normal fotography mode, pro foto, recording, and pro recording, the lens starts to move violently making a rattling noise.
I have never came across this kind of issue in any Samsung phone I bought in the past. In the Galaxy A8, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S24 ultra none of the camera lenses showed any problem.

Same for s25 ultra, altho autofocus is there, but still having hard time, im suprised samsung did not gave 50 mp ultra wide, OIS so sligh moves shake the imagine,Dont know why they did that, but this ultra wide on s25 ultra as well is getting crazy, Im just curious how they can fix what, or how long we will need to wait to finally have phone without issues with camera :), each flagship phone have same issues, blurry photos, problems with focus and so on, time to learn from mistakes I guess, I would expecta  bit more from a flagship phone, and lets be honest on s25 and + people should not have those as well
