/p ending all my gallery ai-voice-search queries so search fails

I tried a gallery voice search for the first time this morning. After pressing the microphone button on the AI search panel at the bottom I spoke my search query. The text that appeared matched the query but had a "/p" at the end of it. Hence the search itself failed. I edited the text to remove the "/p" from the end and then the search succeeded. 

No matter what I voice search for the text always shows a "/p" at the end and thus fails, until i edit the text to remove it. Thus making gallery voice search useless and double work.

I have a S25U and am in the UK.

Any ideas of what could be causing this? Or is this a known bug, to be fixed in a future update? Thanks.

Yep I also get this. It must be a coding error or something (I know very little about coding but pretty sure '/p' means end of paragraph.

Hopefully it gets fixed soon because it's rather annoying.

Hello,

I was having a look at English UK language pack in my device and I've experienced the same strange behaviour. 

It never happened to my previous devices, so I think that this issue is limited to new version of the language pack in One UI 7.

I've filed an error report on Samsung Members for that.

If you want to give your contribution ( @GoodKingMort you can join us too) for this, you can reproduce the issue once again, maybe while recording the screen, and within 3 minutes, go to Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Paper Aeroplane icon in the right bottom corner > System Settings  and describe the issue while attaching both video screen recording and system data log (leave the option selected).

An investigation will be performed in order to check the issue and a solution will be provided.

Thanks for the info. I've also now sent feedback with a screen recording showing it happening. Let's hope they sort this out.
