Just go to routines and set up a routine .if you are on a certain Wi-Fi network which u would select the phone would remain unlocked .but u still would have to unlock secure folder via finger print .when u leave your home /wifi your phone will need to be unlocked via finger or pin .which is what u want anyways .

Annoyed i cant seem to find a way to hide the app anymore. I used to be able to hide it from the app screen from the settings. I can no longer do that and the only way to hide it is to use the quick pull down which still shows that there is a secure folder even if its hidden

I, for one, used the "When I leave the app" for security. Why not just leave it as an option and add the other options? It makes not sense to remove features.

Absolutely, another issue, can't even attach fikes to email reply or download files to secure folder (email app installed inside secure folder), what a lot of *****

How can that call it a security issue when I can screen shot while in secure folder. I just want to translate words ,😞

Absolutely agree — everything they said makes perfect sense.
Especially the part about Secure Folder locking automatically as soon as you exit it — that feature was essential for security and should never have been removed. Without it, your data is exposed if the phone is left unlocked.
Samsung really needs to bring that option back, letting users choose to have the folder lock automatically on exit just like before. These changes in One UI 8 feel more like a step backward than an improvement.

Samsung could easily add an optional setting for this — letting users enable auto‑lock when they exit or minimize Secure Folder. Having such an option is essential for a security‑focused feature like this. It used to be one of the main reasons people trusted Secure Folder, so bringing it back as a toggle would be the ideal solution.
