One ui 8 Secure folder issues

Firstly, I have used secure folder since it was introduced years ago and I can't believe how bad it is now after the one ui 8 update, I don't use a screen lock and don't want too, but now you have to use one if you want to use secure folder. This is ridiculous! You shouldn't be forced to use a screen lock when there is already a lock on the secure folder.
Next, when you are in the secure folder, there is no longer an option to close it automatically when you leave, so if you leave your phone open, someone could still get into it, it should lock as soon as you leave it.
Lastly, I can't believe that you can no longer use circle to search inside the folder, this is also ridiculous, to have an amazing feature like that and not being able to use it half of the time, what is the point in that! I have been with samsung since the original galaxy s, I am a very loyal customer but I am seriously thinking of changing, this is one of the biggest downgrades I've seen, please sort these issues

I guess the challenge here (I agree with you by the way) is whether the toggle would be secure......

100% agree with this. I read on a few posts that they changed the "lock screen when exiting" due to people not liking it?!! Surely If people didn't like it they can change the setting to lock folder when screen is locked.... its not very secure, especially if someone snatches your phone while your in the middle of doing something else after being in the folder.

Not sure if its just my phone samsung s24 but I am finding it hard to move images to the secure folder. This use to be alot easier also. 

I have only updated yesterday and im sure there are more issues I haven't came across yet! Very disappointing in this one issue!

Its look like, samsung downgraded the secure folder. It has been more unsecure. Just imagine you are using the phone and you did not turn off your scrre or lock your screen or you forgot to lock the folder manually and someone got your phone and did access your secure folder. How funny is this. I am also very much annoyed of taking off this features in secure folder, I want this features "each time I leave the app" back.

Suppose you just came back from secure folder and were doing something else and some one snatched your phone - they could be your friends, family anyone - and got access your secure folder then what? Your secure folder will be public. The "lock immediately after closing each time" features was very effective and secure and less time consuming, keeping this features in one ui 8 is not a big deal. Why samsung removed this features I have no idea. I hope they will bring back this features

Secure Folder has been broken with One UI 8. 

Certain apps, file manager especially are not showing files inside secure folder and only your main storage files. 

Its a major secure issue as I am having to put files I need to send from an application installed in Secure folder into my main phone storage to be able to send, rather than just choosing the files from my secure folder location like it was before.

Gallery seems fine and shows files/pictures/video from the correct secure folder so is keeping my nudes safe from the wife but the file manger is ruined or bugged to hell.

Samsung need to fix this issue or whats the point of secure folder

If it wasn't such a hassle I would be back on One UI 7 but flashing the phone again and having to sign back into all the apps is such a nightmare. About time a backup was a backup including all data so no more having to sign back into apps, bank accounts, social etc..

Why do you remove a sensitive feature because some people complained that they don't need it?

Have you benchmarked proportion of samsung users that needed it vs those that don't?

In my opinion, it's best to add it as a settings for users to choose how they want their secure folder to lock.

If not, people are considering leaving the samsung as our privacy is is not guaranteed
