I've noticed when you have a notification with a number when you go to clear it it doesn't cancel and just stays there. Also when you perform an action the little info bar at the bottom stays there for up to a minute.

Thats totally fair-

Being a beta, expect some issues- the whole point of this beta is that you, can help give feedback on issues that need to be ironed out. Giving feedback is vital for a smoother release. It's nice getting the new UI 8, but remember, this is a beta for a reason.

Its very good youve pointed this out!! Means they can sort it out for future users

Why did you bother to join it? Others who wanted to join it for the right reasons couldn't because beta was full yet you've taken a space for what appears to be the wrong reasons.
