Not receiving OTP texts

Hi all,

I have an S25 on Vodafone network.

I am having an issue that I am not receiving OTP from banking apps, PayPal, etc.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I think it is a network issue, as I put my new SIM in my old phone (which received OTP on my old network) and it also does not receive them now.

I suspect my number has not been ported correctly. Everything else works fine.

How long ago did you give them your PAC number? If you're switching networks.

It usually takes 24-48 hours for your phone number to switch networks from my experience.

Sometimes you have to initiate the mobile phone number switching networks by following their instructions.

As mentioned above, when was the switch?

Are you able to receive any texts to your SIM at all?

Switch was in March 2025.

I had trouble from the start with OTPs not coming through.

I receive normal text messages fine.

You may have to contact Vodafone directly and explain your issue. Looking online this could be an issue with the porting your number.

Their customer service should be able to help you and hopefully resolve the issue in their end.
