Need help

Need help with a little annoying problem, over the last few weeks when using my buds3 or buds3 pro to listen to music the song skips to the next track without me touching either my buds or phone. It does it at any point during song.

I do not know if it is since the wearable app took the buds controls away and my phone now controls the buds or since my latest update.

Controls are now under settings /connections /Bluetooth

Is the phone typically in your pocket when it skips

Yes the phone is normally in the same pocket but I tried it in 2 jacket pockets today and it still skipped

@kutcu: Is the issue occurring on all music/media apps, or a particular one?

The default touch control to play the next track is double-pinching the Buds blade, and this cannot be adjusted in the settings. If you're certain that you are not inadvertently interacting with the Buds while wearing them, then try pinching the blade of the Buds 3 times to play the previous track. If you pinch the earbud three times 3 seconds after a track begins playing, it will start the track from beginning. Pinch the earbud three times within 3 seconds of when a track begins playing to play the previous track.

I only use the samsung music app and the controls on both pair of my buds work correctly

@kutcu: Please can you try using another music app, as this will help to determine if the issue is stemming from the Samsung Music app specifically? 

In the meantime, head to Settings > Apps > Samsung Music > Force stop > Storage > Clear cache > Clear data, then restart your phone to see if this helps.
