I smart switched from s23 ultra to s25 ultra...but now its not loading. Just gets stuck on three dots circling forever.

Done safe mode but can't access recovery to clear cache as it won't go into, even with usb charger plugged in.

It worked before but I am finding it annoying as messes up my exercise and sleep routines.

Any help?

Try wiping phone partition cache. It needs to be connected to the pc
Power off the device.
• a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

Otherwise delete the app and reinstall

Did that via PC.

I was able to clear cache. Phone faster. But Modes and Routine still doesn't work nor has any features.

Uninstalled Updates and reinstalled Updates. Still no joy.

I guess will wait for another update or something as it has no functionality and hangs with three dots still.

I dont have many apps but uninstalled all the ones I dont use, but still no good.

Thanks for cache tip at least.

Hi @ReeceQ obviously you have tried a fair bit of Troubleshooting. If you try a Soft Reset by holding Power and Volume Down for around 10 seconds (until Device Reboots) simultaneously does this make any difference? Other idea is to go to Apps-Modes and Routines-Force stop. Go to Storage and clear cache/Data.

Thanks for confirming. A pity, could attempt a Factory Reset after Backing up but know some find this a bit of a hassle.

I have found it more stable to backup the old phone to Samsung. Do a factory reset and then restore the back up to your new phone. Smart switch is great but can have issues such as bringing gremlins over from the old phone onto the new phone which can cause havoc if there are compatibility issues with new firmware etc. The most stable and productive way of all is to set up the new phone and then re add your apps one by one but it is a nightmare for logging everything back in and setting up all your settings again so my advice is before setting up your new phone. Make sure your old phone and apps are all updated I.e Samsung store as well as play store and phone software, then make a new phone backup. Set up your new phone and check for updates on your new phone and apps I.e Samsung store and phone software and once updated, restore the new backup you created to the new phone. Hope this helps
