Bring back the micro SD card slots and the ability to use and back up your data on them as I stored all my files from my Samsung S10, s9 , s8 , s6 and so on , backing up everything and storing photos , videos songs etc all on the SD card and havent been able to get my stuff back as s22 s24 and s25 ultras don't have SD card slots and you're giving the phones more and more ability and AI but we still need the ability to back up and store on the cards as I used to keep my game on the card and ended up losing my account I had spent hundred of GBP£ on and all the photos from my youth etc when the last phone I had with an SD card finally gave up

Hello 👋 @tihsepa

Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

May I suggest to perform a forum search as you may find already existing threads with help and advice within discussing Sd Cards.

Sadly we won't see the reintroduction of these as far as I'm aware on Flagship models.

So now it's a case of purchasing the highest internal storage capacity one can afford ,and then use Samsung Cloud to back up to ,and online vaults such as Dropbox and Google Photo's to mention a couple.

I totally understand and appreciate your viewpoint on this.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

@tihsepa  Welcome to the Samsung community :smiling-face:

I realise some customers are fans of SD cards but the slots are not likely to return to Samsung Flagship  Devices.

The focus is now on Cloud storage and bigger internal storage options are  now available, though at a premium (though there are usually offers for the pre orders)

For those who so not like cloud storage Local Storage is another choice  (personally I use   both), though will not suit everyone.  Not been a big fan of SD cards in recent years as they are not the fastest technology and can be prone to error (though there are some premium ones available).

I do not work for Samsung or make Samsung Products but provide independent advice and valuable contributions.

Getting as bad as apple which i have only ever purchased 1 of as they wanted money for everything even wanted me to subscribe to tunes with a monthly charge to hear the music I'd already spent a fortune on as it wouldn't let me transfer my previous Samsungs music to the device, so I went back to Samsung galaxy s rang . Now you want more money for the cloud storage and to charge more for storage. I've already purchased the s24 ultra with 256gb storage then within 6 months purchased the new s25 ultra with 512gb of data and for someone like me who lives in a country that phone companies seem to think we should pay more than any other country for the same phone in the u.k were the phone is more expensive than the u s , south Africa, France and Germany all pay less for the same phone and it's not tax as we could get one from America and pay import duty and still get it cheaper , but Samsung has made it so you can't do that and if you do it anyway your warranty to be voided. I checked it all out when I was going to get my s22+ as a friend in the u s got the ultra version far cheaper and he couldn't believe the price mine cost in the cheapest store around for the 22+ version. So please don't start squeezing more money out of us here. Luckily I had a work pension when I was medically retired as being on my disability pension is hard enough without having to pay even more for storage as well as being penalised for being in the u.k with the prices you charge us as I have converted the price into GBP from all the countries I've stated above and even with exchange rates they all pay far less than us , it's nearly worth voiding the warranty and paying for a repair if damaged in the period the warranty should of covered if it was voided than to purchase in the u.k lol

Hi and welcome to the Samsung community. There are microSD USB-C card adapterd available fairly inexpensively, for example on Amazon. They help you copy the data you need from and to the phone. They plug into the USB-C port. I find more and more am using cloud based storage though. I think Samsung are reluctant to reintroduce microSD card support directly into the flagships because they run relatively slowly and are also prone to errors/corruption
