Hello 👋 @Renee Hoover

First turn the phone Off and On i.e a Soft Reboot, but if that does not help then follow this by trying a forced reboot by holding down the volume down key and power button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. When your phone resets, you will feel it vibrate.

The pin set up is either ⁴ digits or ⁶ digits.

If all else fails then look at > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/i-cant-unlock-my-device.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

You can't set up the phone with just face recognition or just fingerprint. A PIN, pattern, or password is required as a final unlock method. With face unlock, your phone will ask for your true unlock method every 24 hours or after four hours of your phone not moving. So, the fact that you set up face recognition means you will have created a PIN during the setup process

Hi! Welcome to the samsung members community.

To be clear; you must've set your own PIN. You have to before adding FaceID, itll ask for this every so often, and after a restart.

Here is a guide
