On battery it tells you how much battery it's actually using. Are you saying it's using a high % or are you just upset you can't uninstall it out of principle? Because it shouldn't be using any battery if it's not being actively used
In settings just search for it. And, turn it off.
You shouldn't yet notifications unless you've connected a device
Ps: it takes away the warrenty as rooting a device increases the risk of malfunctions. Warrenty covers things going wrong due to manufacturing faults, not if you're causing them

Annoying if you cant un-install it. Have to say though link to windows is one of my main apps - as I need to the notifications coming through to my laptop from my phone, and although it needed a work around on the s25u to get the notifications working properly - now its fixed it works perfect - better than the s23U. But can understand frustrations of those not wanting this installed and being unable to easily remove.

So in order to turn off Link to Windows Services notifications.
You have to go to a PC sign in to your Microsoft account link the account and then go to settings on windows then notifications then turn it off.
I asked support right okay but What if someone didn't have a PC or didn't have a Microsoft account 🤔 .
That sounds like your forcing users to give away personal information aka making a Microsoft account on a pc to go to settings and turn of notifications. In order to stop getting the Link to Windows Services Notifications.
And if you dont make a Microsoft account and dont want to root your device. You will indefinitely keep getting the Link to Windows notifications.
One of there solutions was to permanently have the phone on "Do not Disurb Mode " which causes a whole other issue , what if you got important txt calls or (Gmail) not Hotmail course that you missed because the phones in constant " Do not disturb mode" in order to stop receiving the Link to Windows Notifications.
To me this Doesn't sound Legal at all.

So in order to turn the notifications off . I would need to connect to a PC sign into my microsoft account go to settings then turn notifications off that way that's what you are told to do.
Now what if someone doesnt have access to a PC or have a Microsoft account in first place?.
Well now without rooting your device you are now stuck with Constant forever getting Link to Windows services notifications Forever. Indefinitely. That's seems alot like to be Forcing users to create a Microsoft account and give away personal information all just to turn off "Link to Windows Services" on my Andriod Device.
To me that doesnt Sound legal at all especially under UK and EU laws.

Why should I have to put up with getting Constant Notifications for an app i do not use . And have no way at all of turning them off Unless I give away my personal details to Microsoft that isn't right is it ?
I've been a Samsung users for coming to almost 15 years and have Loved Samsung especially for they photography capabilities. But this isn't right .
I dont see how you cant see that .
A user literally has to give away there personal information by creating a Microsoft account just to turn off notifications.
How is that right or legal for that matter ?
