How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

It's so ***** stupid to see search button at bottom of my screen,I don't even use it daily yet it's opening by missclick. Let us change this back to the top or bottom!!!!

Without a solution and the future looking bleak, I may as well go back to Apple. I only moved for the customisation options.

This is my issue too. I use the search function regularly as the 1st 2 letters of any app brings up what I want and I use a lot of apps through the day. Really doesn't make any sense to me why it cannot have a simple option for top or bottom. Top makes sense, search bars on the bottom of Search Engines for instance make no sense at all. The home screen is easily adjustable.....

I'm just going to use Nova launcher instead, one ui sucks.

Never liked ios that said if it's better than this crappy UI I might give it a try all the reasons I stuck with Android/Samsung the past decade are about all null with all the restrictions and lack of control over your own devices. Very sad times where we have 0 control over our data and 0 say on what we can do my new smartphone is less useful than my older S8 Active

Completely agree,  had been putting off my update.  

I can't stand the search bar at the bottom, actually make me angry and even worse you can't move it to where I want it.  That's why I've lived Samsung for last 13 years. I love the adaptability and versatility. 

Please go back to flexibility samsung.
