How to move the app screen search box/bar back to the top?

Just moved to the S25 from S23 and I'm not impressed with OneUI 7.

As far as the app screen/drawer is concerned, I know where all my apps are by muscle memory and only use the search function once in a blue moon. The search bar really should be far away from my fingers at the top like it has always been.

There should at least be an option to select the location of the search bar.

Not allowing this to customized is a pain in the a**.  I'd prefer the old way it was.  Tried to get used to the new search box but don't like it.   Don't understand why it was forced on us vs customizable.

Hi all, just now swap my S23U to S25U, so far so good. Only I do not like that search bar is bottom- any advice how to move on top like all phones? Thank u

I could not have said it better.  If Samsung wanted to offer the "option" of where an owner placed their search bar, that would have been great.  Instead, an assumption was made that making such a placement permanent would be better.  Please correct this in an upcoming systems update.  The bottom search placement is driving me crazy.  If my husband's phone had not gone up, and he received my S24 Ultra with me getting the S25 Ultra, I would NOT have switched.  Please fix this ASAP!!!

Just reiterating that I greatly dislike this UI change and want it back up to the top.

Agree with a lot of posters here. The app search bar placement not being customizable is a nuisance. Why take away the option? How does it benefit anyone's experience using your interface, Samsung? This needs to be fixed.

its hard to even touch and its keep moving always, stupid design. I had to install a different launcher and your home app now became a bloatware.

My goodness... this search bar ***** needs to be addressed. So annoying having it placed at the bottom of the App screen! Argʻggggggggʻ
