I want to use my fingerprint for the Samsung wallet but I do not want to have my phone screen locked. To set up a fingerprint for the wallet I need to set up a lock screen and if I get rid of the lockscreen it removes my fingerprint. Is there a way to work around this?

No. need fallback login option

@nick162: I do believe that a lock screen security option is required in order to use Samsung Wallet, as this prevents unauthorised access to your device. As per the above, a backup PIN, Pattern or Password will need to be entered every 72 hours when using Lock screen fingerprints.
As it's possible to use Samsung Wallet from your Lock screen, you may wish to explore your options via Settings > Lock screen > Screen lock and biometrics, to see if you're able to assign 'Swipe' or 'None' after setting up your fingerprints.

The wallet app already has a password on it so a fall back login option isnt needed. I dont want to lock my phone, I just want to be able to use my fingerprint to unlock my wallet.
Is there any way around this or am I just screwed?

The wallet itself has a password but the phone doesn't need to be locked. I don't care about using the wallet from the lock screen I don't want to lock my phone just to use my fingerprint. If I go back to swipe to unlock the fingerprint gets removed.
