How to enable Gemini Live

So I keep seeing everywhere and especially today that Gemini live is being rolled out for people to use. Thought I cannot seem to get it working for me. There are no updates to any of the apps or any system updates. 

Any idea how I can enable the live feature with Gemini? I am on s25+. 

From my understanding on what I read it should be available to those who have purchased Gemini Advanced, or those with selected devices, and the S25 series is in the list of these selected devices.

No it's not true. Gemini is the same for most devices. My Xiaomi POCO, S21 Ultra and S25 Ultra all function and look the same.

Good, because I read a thread here, I can't find it right now, that the option in the navigation bar has disappeared, that currently only Good Lock's One hand operation + module can be used to set Gemini to be launched with side gestures on S25 series.

Oh you mean to invoke, yes it is removed from the S25. But the app itself works and looks exactly the same. I personally don't use good lock for the gestures.

I know it's same, it's Google's app 🤭. And side (Bixby) button is also Android 15 (or 16) (Google) stuff, and that's why Samsung had to remove Bixby 😂

Well, no, Bixby isn't really removed. Bixby still exists and has more on device functionality than Google Assistant or Gemini on the S25 series. Going forward, it likely will phase out, but that's simply due to Google having greater development and infrastructure.

This is all I see when opening the app. I got an update on the gemini app a few days ago so maybe it is a gradual roll out

Yes, for S25 series Gemini Live was released on 7th April. I guess only for those who activated Gemini Advanced

I think the launch has been staggered. Gemini live was available for me from day 1 when I bought my S25 Ultra back on 1 February. I actually had it before then on my S24 Ultra, but I never really tried to use it then. I never even had Gemini Advanced activated to use it, so I just assumed everyone had it. I guess I was mistaken. Apologies if you felt misled. I found it available on all my Android phones at the time, so it's really account bound and not device specific.

No, this feature of Gemini Live Google released in March, I got in Friday because I have Gemini Advanced

Screen share, I know. But he's asking about Gemini Live. I posted about screen sharing when it first showed up on my Gemini Live. That I do know is rolling out to Gemini advanced users first, but I believe it will roll out for everyone down the line, at least it's what Gemini told me 😂
