Hello I am little worried and hoping someone could help ease my mind. I used the trade phone promotion with new phone. I packaged and labelled it with the label supplied. While at work we have a regular royal mail collection and so asked if he can take this and he happily said yes though I was given no receipt. I have CCTV evidence showing I have given the package to the royal mail driver. Am I am now going to have issues?

Does your email with the tracking have a tracking number? My best suggest is to contact Samsung support and rise this issue with them. They might be able to track it for you via the postage method.

Personally I'd drop it off and get a receipt with the tracking number
I normally pay extra so I get the security of insurance and signed for
I too have a post room here, but I wouldn't chance it.
Unfortunately without a way of tracking your parcel, you are at the mercy of the postage system that your workplace uses, and the trade in team letting you know if they have received it or not

How long ago did you post the phone?

 

You should receive an email when they receive the trade in device. I do not think that you need to be concern for the moment. However, I would have gone to the post office and get a receipt.

It does actually have a tracking number yes. I have contacted them and they said no they need the receipt as proof of postage. I think I may run in to trouble here 🫣🫣

They took it this morning I have the CCTV footage of him taking the parcel. You are right but I didn't even think I just asked if he could take it with the label on it and he said yes no problem

It should be delivered by next week. It is Thursday and it will not get delivered and process before next week at the earliest.

Just relax and wait. If you do not get an email saying that they received your trade in phone, or an email demanding your trade in phone, then you should worry, but it is unlikely that they will not deliver the parcel. It is fully paid for.
