If thats what you wanted to do. I need to ask, are you getting notifications of adverts or are they covering your screen when you do normal phone things?
Also samsung internet wouldn't be the source of ads. It's just a web browser that you can use adblockers with
I just get adverts that cover a portion of my screen. No warning that they are coming. I've got a ad blockers that I've downloaded I've brought a virus protection app and still get them. Touch wood I havent had one pop up for nearly 50 mins which is good as they used to come all the time
Uninstall Chrome as it's bad for adverts and spam traffic and often full of malware, use Samsung Internet browser and you shouldn't be bothered with advertising pop ups. Also enable the autobocker in Security and privacy that stops spamware and malicious activity on your device.
If they don't appear again then thats good. It won't be a virus, you'll have installed an app that's doing it. If it starts again, check for apps that can display over others (settings)
