False advertising on S25U pre-order

False avertFalse avertSamsung on its UK webpage says "Guaranteed £200 off when you trade in any Galaxy smartphone in any condition, broken or cracked." yet it won't recognise the S6, S7 & S9 as a trade in option and it offers way less than £200 on others?

I opened a support chat and was told only those listed can be traded in.

All now working and resolved.

I was going to trade in my fiancé's iPhone 12 pro max - think they offered my £60 😂 And £560 or something for my 5-month-old S24 Ultra - final price with the S24 ultra and the other promo codes was £525 though so still tempting!

Hi @TNJGB ,

Tried it with a 1TB S25U in Titanium Black (using Chrome as my browser), and got this:

All working now, it has changed again from the screenshots above and the brand to choose is now "Guaranteed Trade In" rather than Samsung. It is worth doing in the app as there is another 10% discount there that is not available on the web.

Thanks that works on the web but not in the store app where the "any galaxy" option is missing.

@TNJGB  if you look at the small print:

2. Purchase from Samsung.com by 02/02/25. £200 based on a Samsung smartphone, in any condition. Purchased phone will be blocked if you don't send us your Trade In device. T&Cs apply.

Excludes Titanium Jetblack models

Double storge offer:

3. Operates as a price discount: Pre-order the larger storage variant (S25 Ultra 512GB / 1TB) by 06/02/25 and pay the future price of the smaller storage variant (S25 Ultra 256GB / 512GB).

Are you signed into Samsung Account?

Just posting here - as there is still a "false advertising" issue. I have a separate post on the same issue.

On this same screen as shown above, just scroll down a bit more...

And you see the T's and C's? Now look af the first link, open the PDF, and find the section:

The OP gave a screenshot showing "In any condition, broken or cracked" but of-course this is in complete contradiction to their terms as shown above.
