Does this battery usage seem normal?

I've had my S25 Ultra for around 5 months now and always been an iPhone user previous to that so I'm very new to Android and Samsung. 

I'm loving the experience and the phone with only 1 exception - the battery!

I always have to charge it mid way through the day or evening and it feels like it drops about 10% an hour.

I do have the refresh at highest and the screen resolution on the best etc, otherwise What's the point of having a £1000+ flagship phone if you're going to limit it to operate like a sub £500 phone. I still expect the battery to last a day at least like the iPhones always did.

I'm starting to wonder if there's an issue with my phone or battery. I've already reset it to factory settings after I read that using the transfer app can cause issues with battery and then set up the phone manually as new but it's still the same.

Is this normal?

It works around 5hrs sot which is roughly what I also get on average

Thank you! Just wanted to compare mine with someone else to make sure that's all as I'm worried my charge cycle count is going to be high and ruin the battery! Currently sat at 129 cycles since May

The Samsung battery's are rubbish since the ui 7 update came about, seems to be betting worse then they use to. It's one of the biggest moans on here.n😮

I remember a time where everyone including Samsung's marketing ads used to take a dig at iPhone's battery 😂. One area I've never had issues with tbh. Still, everything else on offer trumps the latest Apple devices so I'm very much happy here 😁

They still do make fun of Apple phones but the sad part is they make parts for each other like the device screens etc

On average, that's similar to what I get on a quieter day.
Main thing is i get a full day normally and happy with that.
In fact both my S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max are usually very close with their batteries
Normally within 10% of each other.
I have both phones on Beta software. S25 Ultra on one ui 8 and iPhone on ios 26
So they both probably use a bit more battery than normal

I'm on the latest beta on my S25 Ultra - forgot to mention that, however don't see it better or worse than official release. My old 16 Pro Max was significantly better battery wise
