Does anyone remember Samsung's pricing scheme after the formal unpacking event?

The phone I would buy is the S25 Ultra / 512GB which for me at the Samsung NL site is €1449.  That's not much of a discount.  The same configuration at my Dutch provider, Vodafone, is €1032.  Vodafone's price is valid until 2 February.

So, in the past, does anyone remember how the pricing went for Samsung weeks after the initial event?

I have no interest in buying any additional devices or services, just the phone.  I always prefer buying directly from Samsung as I've had good experiences with them.    (With Samsung, if I want to return the phone, even after using it, I can do so and receive my money back; that's not typically the case with a third party such as Vodafone.)

At the moment, the smart thing for me looks like buying from Vodafone.

If anyone remembers how Samsung's pricing went weeks after the event, please chime in.

One thing i have noticed is that the next sale is not far behind... observations with UK site... I am not sure in Europe.

I feel the best deals are had at preorder. Often there is an elevated trade in, and better package of freebies.

However, after the presale date finishes and the dust settles there is another to follow... and another to follow that.

If the package is not someone's cup of tea then it is always OK to wait until the next one. I.e. buds 3 might not be something needed, but in February there will be a free laptop, projector, discounts ... or something else to entice customers.

For the s23ultra I decided not to get involved in the preorder. It is often a bit of a mess in organisation and as a forumer we read about it all on here... over and over. I decided to get my s23u during summer last time and there were some great cashbacks to be redeemed... it suited my needs more.

This time I have preordered and I just hope that I am not one of the customers that has a bad cause for complaint. 🤞

I am surprised you don't get similar deals to align with the UK upon this phase, but perhaps they will come soon. Being in Netherlands can you buy from Germany and maintain your warranty?? Just wondering really.

Good luck

I'm not sure, but having lived here for 30 years, I learned that it's easier to buy in the country you live in.  I could save some money buying a new car in Germany but then would have to deal with a German warranty while it's more convenient to simply conduct all my business here.

Last year I decided to wait until the Pre Ordering stage ended to see what offers then were offered @davehorne

I only buy directly from Samsung UK.

I ended up getting the Bluetooth JBL speaker and a nice % off the Samsung Watch⁶ Classic along with the Samsung Galaxy s²⁴ Ultra.

It did take around 4 weeks I think.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

I bit the bullet and ordered from Vodafone.  They had an in-store special where they bumped up the storage for free.  This deal was only in-store and does not appear at their online site.

I ordered a S25 Ultra / 1T for €1032.  (The order actually shows €1056, but I was told I would be reimbursed €24 when I pay and pickup the phone.  I questioned them several times on this and was told I would be reimbursed.)

I also prefer to deal directly with Samsung, but this was a deal too good to pass up.   (If things don't turn out well, I'll let everyone here know.)
