DISPLAY ISSUES

The overheating problems seems to be resolved due to Samsungs newest update that came out on ("April.23,2025") of this month, however  I don't understand why this samsung s25 ultra is now having display issues all suddenly.

I was on Snapchat just doing my thing and decided to go settings then I noticed my screen froze while I was trying to stroll through the settings but, obviously couldn't as my screen was frozen and i had to patiently wait until it sorted itself  out to reuse my phone again.

Can someone please explain to me on how this is happening when this is a brand new phone?

Seems to work for me

press and hold the Power button and the Volume down button down simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it. This seems to happen due to ram- just like any device RAM will need to be cleared now and again = turning device on and off

You're the first person I've seen with this problem.

Try a reboot and clearing your cache partition.

Since this is the first time seeing this issue, don't really have any past fixes to recommend. So if a simple reboot and cache partition clear doesn't fix it, things might get complicated.

You can also force reboot your phone with the buttons. So if it freezes you don't have to just wait

Really? You have the samsung phone as me right and you never had this issue ever? What kind of phone do you have and when did you get? Like it is a good phone but, idk why im having these problems and I did all those steps but, nothing changed! Unfortunately I cant get out of my two year phone contract right now and also this is the three samsung s25 ultra phone i was given through my company as the other two phones had issues too, so no option for an exchangement.

I have an s25 ultra. Last phone was an s22, before than was an s20. My s25 ultra was the very first set of them as it was a pre-order. So if there was going to be issues, my first batch device would see it.

Plus no one on here has mentioned freezing yet. I've seen green lines on s24 phones but no issues with s25 models yet. So at least to me, your issue is a new one.

Samsung should warranty it if it truly is damage. I'd try a full reset (backup your stuff). If it does it after a reset then it's a serious issue, samsung should replace it for you

Well,

The samsung s25 ultra is a new phone that just displayed this year and course issues wont be defected until later on after customers usage and reports like I'm doing now.

I've had 3 samsung s25 ultra in the last month and a half, two of them showed signs of viruses due data transfer from my iPhone to my samsung devices but, the smart switch app isn't compatible with an iPhone products unfortunately and yes the display issues were happening with the first samsung s25 ultra too as that was also reported as well.

I'm glad samsung has this website to post issues and hopefully will be taking seriously and fixed immediately by another update for freezing problems/ overheating problems once again.

Gonna go and say it didn't get a virus, that's not really a thing modern smartphones get anymore. You probably just experienced something you weren't used to. Phone malware isn't a thing that happens in modern days unless you install sketchy apk files. (Yes googling phone malware will show things, but modern malware just steals data, you don't actually see anything strange happen or even know. Though samsung knox stops it anyway)

The smart switch app is on the apple app store so it is compatible? Not sure what you mean saying it isn't compatible.

Not saying there's no screen issue. I'm saying we have the same phone, mine works fine. I have friends with the s25u, they have no issues. I haven't seen anyone else on this forum post about issues. You're the first and with 3 phones with the same problem. So it might be a bad batch to your area or something. It doesn't seem to be a device wide problem

What country are you in ? Im in Canada and yes probably got bad ones here and I do know this because my second samsung s25 ultra phone was sent to repair and the diagnose was given as a suspicious virus.

The phone still had problems after being repaired and now this last phone that im using is showing similar issues too plus im not sure why my screen froze while I was using Snapchat ?
