Hi

I have sold my S25U for a Z Fold 7. However, when downloading apps or verifying pins, I get the S25U as an option.

I have deleted the device from my Google account.
However, it is still appearing under the option for verification such as Ring Doorbell- it shows alongside my Samsung tablet. How do I delete it the S25U as a device?

I want to avoid de registering the device as the person I sold it to would then lose out on the 2 year warranty should something happen.

Thanks

The warranty should be linked to the device's serial number, not the account.

If you reset the device before selling it, it should be removed from your google account after a month or two. If you go to the "your devices" page of google settings it should be gone. If not, press sign out

I think Google's a bit slow to remove devices. It should vanish eventually. I've had it happen before but it only shows my S25 ultra and galaxy watch now.

In the ring app, you can also delete your old device from the ring bell. Click the top 3 lines and go to control centre > authorised client devices. You can delete your old device and log out.

That's helpful thank you. Yes, I deleted device from Google. I removed account from the phone and factory reset it.
