This is an interesting thing I've discovered: I have a 45W Samsung 2.0 (third-party, so take with a grain of salt) plug and the charger that came with my phone. I have another that came with my galaxy book 4 edge and a third-party one. Interestingly, I got different, repeating results for each cable. All show the exact same charge time and Fast Charge 2.0—images provided.

Perfectly happy with the amazing charge time, so this isn't the topic. I'm more intrigued by the results showing the same charge speed regardless of the wattage.

Volts times amps equals watts.

And what percentage do you put it on charge? And do you charge it fully 100%

Oh, that's from 0-100. I typically slap on a charge when I remember, mind.

***** so you make the phone battery completely dead all the time and charge it up again from 0 to 100% always?

You are correct. A phone won't charge at the full 45w speed. Around 35w is expected. The point I'm making is the wattage is the same for official and third party chargers. But the voltage somehow being lower on third party chargers causes higher amperage, meaning more heat

Higher voltage are actually better for phones. They s25u can take 15v. This causes the amps to be lower so less heat is produced. Heat is the real killer
