Camera issue

My Camera screen is black when using 1,2 & 3 zoom.

0.6, 10, 20 & 30 zoom all work.

I have restarted my S25 and went into the camera app settings and forced stopped, i then cleared data in 'storage'.

This hasn't worked any ideas??

Hello, I stumbled upon this thread when searching for what could be going on with my  1 week-old  NEW Samsung Galaxy s25 plus. When I use the camera zoom on 1,2 and 3 does not work, it shows a black screen. 0.6, 10, 20 & 30 zoom all work normally. I tried all the things listed above, even factory reset, the issues are still there. Now my phone is hot, and battery drains in a very short time.  Please let me know what the retailer or warranty service said when you brought back the phone.

Same thing is going on with mine and on top of that the autorotation doesn't work

UPDATE

Back when I first reported the fault to Samsung, I arranged for the phone to be sent back to Samsung's service technicians.

They diagnosed that the charging port was at fault which was causing the malfunction and replaced the component.

After receiving the phone back it has worked as it should.......however after 3 months which brings us up to Sep 2025 the camera/power drain issue has reoccurred.

I will again report this to Samsung as this is an ongoing issue, and demand a brand new unit or refund.

I will not accept another repair on the same unit.
