Camera issue

My Camera screen is black when using 1,2 & 3 zoom.

0.6, 10, 20 & 30 zoom all work.

I have restarted my S25 and went into the camera app settings and forced stopped, i then cleared data in 'storage'.

This hasn't worked any ideas??

I'm not quite sure, maybe clean your camera lenses or contact Samsung?

I've checked the lenses and they are clean and undamaged.

I have went through the bot on Samsung which was no help.

Try diagnostics via Samsung members app. Contact Samsung support and ask them to assist

Samsung recommended a factory reset which I'm hesitate to do.

I downloaded a different camera app from the Google play store and same result.

The middle lens on the phone is defective and now the phone itself is red hot and battery life has drained from 81% to 9% in the space of 6 hours.

It is under warranty send it to be fixed

This would indicate your main camera sensor is damaged or non functioning. In this instance I'd look to getting a refund or replacement.

Hello, I stumbled upon this thread when searching for what could be going on with my 1 week old  NEW Samsung galaxy s25+. When I use the camera zoom on 1,2 and 3 does not work, it shows a black screen. 0.6, 10, 20 & 30 zoom all work normally. I tried all the things listed above, even factory reset, the issues are still there. Now my phone is hot, and battery drains in a very short time.  Please let me know what the retailer or warranty service said when you brought back the phone.
